Our online booking system allows us to manage our capacity and ensure the best passage of guests. We are a very busy restaurant, and we don’t want you to wait in line or be disappointed if we are fully booked.
By booking online, you can secure your table in advance and choose the available time that suits you best.
We are a team of just two people running our restaurant, which means we have decided only take up to four guests at a time, so we don’t accommodate tables larger than four guests.
This allows us to maintain the quality of our service and craft, and to give each guest our full attention and care. We want you to feel special and pampered when you dine with us.
However, online bookings also come with some conditions that we ask you to respect. We require a deposit of 15 euros per person when you book your table. This deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. If you cancel later than that or don’t show up, we will keep the deposit as a compensation for the loss of business.
We understand that sometimes plans change or unforeseen circumstances arise, but we hope you understand that this policy is necessary for us to survive as a small business. We are located a bit out of town, and we don’t get many walk-in customers. If people don’t honour their bookings, we lose money and waste food.
We also ask you to respect our policy of not allowing children under five years old in our restaurant. We love children, but we also want to create a romantic and peaceful atmosphere for our guests who come to celebrate special occasions such as wedding proposals, birthdays, and anniversaries. We want everyone to have the perfect evening at The Ugly Duckling.
